Are you one of them who thinks that more of anything is better?
Well, if you think that, then you’re not always right!
But if you like low to moderate range will most likely be always better than having too much of something and I’m going to explain why!
You know, we’re living in a modern society that is making people too egoistic, too materialistic and so on, based on my own opinion.
And we can blame it on social media because the majority of the population is checking out people’s lives on a regular basis and what they are seeing is people making the most money, having all the things they want, etc.
Too much expectation leads to sadness.
Yet, we all have to be aware that not everything we see is actually real. Most of these things are basically illusions and false photoshop images so they can increase their own ego, or make massive money out of you and everyone else.
So what does this has to do with if too much of anything is bad?
Well, if you’re constantly wanting too many material things, too much money, too much food, ego-boosting, too much time on social media – the list goes on, you’re taking the bad route!
Now let me explain to you more clearly what’s really happening with most people out there.
What Does It Really Mean to Want Too Much of Something?
To me, what it actually means is when you have enough of what you got, but you tend to want/crave more and more and more than ever which to you may seem that it’s never enough.
Never be “too much available” for someone otherwise you will lose your importance..!
In fact, I am not religious at all but I do believe in the Universe/God/Higher-self/Supreme-power inside of us or whatever you want to it.
There are actually 7 deadly sins which are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth.
As you can see, the ones such as GREED and LUST fall into the same category of wanting too much of something in your life!
Greedy people never seemed to be satisfied with what they have…
I mean, we all had a greedy friend before that would never want to share their food with us at all, right?! Now the problem is that some of these people were actually born just like that since they seem to have no control over it.
Yet, it is their responsibility to be aware of it and to look forward to changing themselves to become a better person, and actually not sin anymore.
But the LUST one basically means wanting too much luxury and trying to live above their means.
They seem to have a physiological craving desire to have material objects, power, money, or even sex falls into this same category as well!
These types of people feel like they can’t balance the amount of pleasure towards something or someone, can you see what I’m saying here?
And if you were to combine both greed and lust together, they will have no control at all but always want too much of anything!
You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live torment if you don’t trust enough. – Frank Crane
Yes, believe it or not, there are actually a lot of people who do sin every day by all of the 7 deadly sins on a regular basis. Sure some of them are not aware, but some may actually be and still don’t do anything about it.
One of my favorite quotes states: ‘You are not responsible for the programming you received in childhood. As an adult, you are 100% responsible for fixing it.’
And that is 100% true!
Why Too Much of Anything Is Really Bad?
Well, it’s not only about the part of the 7 deadly sins towards the Universe/God, but you might come across some big trouble down the road.
If you’re over-eating, health complications like illness, sickness, and early death might come to visit you sooner than later.
If you want too much money and power, you might get involved in a scam pyramid, fraud scheme, or even corruption which you’ll end up facing some legal charges or even prison in the future.
Don’t let people know too much about you.
If you’re looking at too much material stuff like trying to live above your means or above your limits, then you could run out of money to afford it pretty much soon, as this has happened to many lottery winners before.
And as for social media folks out there, the ones that are getting lots of attention from likes and comments which is causing themselves to boost their own egos, they’re heading towards becoming famous and that means no privacy where you’re going to need to have security guards all-around your house or wherever you go for a lifetime.
But if you’re the “follower” on social media and always creeping up on people’s lives there, you’re going to be very addicted and basically leave your real life to the side and only scroll down every second on your social media newsfeed to see what others are doing.
What else can I say?
Well, if you want too much sex or are craving porn, addiction comes into play and you’ll mess up your sexual life completely. Too much of it messes up your psychological mentality.
If you love someone too much, you’re out of luck as well because the minute that person is gone, you’re left out miserable.
Don’t trust too much. Don’t love too much. Don’t hope too much. Because that “too much” can hurt you so much.
If you would work too much without taking any breaks, you might come across as harming your own health.
So basically, too much of anything is really bad!
More example; if we sleep too much, studies found it’s bad for our health. If you drink too much water, you can “drown” yourself or if you’re too thirsty, you can die.
Even with too much positivity, you won’t see if something is going to do bad to you which I mean since you’re only seeing the good side of all things, you might trust too much and there could always be a bad negative side such as a person or something that will backfire you terribly.
Don’t think too much. You’ll create a problem that wasn’t even there in the first place.
I have had past experiences with this before!
If you were to live too long, you’ll be a very old man that could hardly walk with no energy to enjoy your life in my point of view.
Either way, there will always be something bad and negative in the “too much” section in my own personal opinion!
Final Verdict – Low to Moderate Will ALWAYS be Best
Yes, that’s right!
Let me share the same examples as above if you were to do with a low to a moderate range...
- If you eat low to moderate = good for your body and health
- Low to moderate power/money = allows you to stay humble
- Fewer material stuffs = won’t run out of money to afford it
- Less social media = won’t get addicted & ruin your life
- Fair amount of sex = happy & healthy overall sexual life
- Love someone with less attachment = able to love yourself more
- Working hard with breaks = productivity & motivated – Win-Win
- 6-8 hours of sleep every night = healthy brain and wellbeing
- Drinking 2-3 liters per = healthy overall body function
- Positivity with awareness = Able to look out for yourself & others
- Living healthy to a good age = able to enjoy life as much as you can
- And the list goes on forever…
See, that’s why it is super important to choose low to moderate for basically everything! Sometimes, the less is better but not always.
But I can sure say that too much of anything will always be bad for you regardless of what it is!
The key is keeping yourself to yourself. Keep your mystery. Don’t give them too much information so they can’t define you.
Trust me, you can just think of what it is and look at the opposite of what could happen, you’ll figure out that too much of that as well is really bad for us.
So always make sure to know your limit for everything or else you’re going to run into a dead end.
And if you really know your limit and actually being aware of it at all costs and living in the present moment is probably the best way to go based on my own experience, knowledge, and wisdom.
Yes, awareness is actually everything because the moment you can clearly see what’s currently happening or what might happen around you, that’s true power to me!
I mean, how many times have we wanted something too much without knowing the bad consequences or realizing what’s going on?
I’m sure it happened to all of us since we are all perfect of imperfections meaning everyone makes mistakes regardless of whatever.
Don’t care too much, just do what makes you happy.
And the best way is to learn from your own mistakes and then start being aware since you now have it as a life lesson, which that’s how you get wisdom from both experience and knowledge together makes you a wise person.
Not to mention, now that you know what the seven deadly sins are, but what are the seven heavenly virtues?
- Pride -> Humility
- Greed -> Charity
- Wrath -> Patience
- Envy -> Kindness
- Lust -> Chastity
- Gluttony -> Temperance
- Sloth -> Diligence
Therefore, focus on being and having the seven heavenly virtues in your life which you’ll be thriving in the Universe/God’s favor and that means, the better of everything.
Other than that, if you’re struggling with overeating which is the GREED deadly sin and you’re most likely obese and overweight, I would suggest you do something about it and look for an effective and safe weight loss pill.
You’re going to see many before and after photos from real past customers of the products and I’m sure you won’t hesitate but start changing your life completely with one of the best shredding fat supplements out there.
