You know, a lot of people misunderstand regret… It truly is one of the biggest poisons that too many people are carrying within themselves.
Since no one is perfect, I am actually one of them as well and if I were to tell you my mistakes and regrets in life, you’ll see that they are also very bad, depressing, and not good at all.

If you don’t know, carrying too much regret or any negative emotional feelings will cause a lot of harm to our body and that is why it is a very bad poison that too many people are dealing with on a daily basis!
Now don’t get me wrong, there are some ways to fix it and I’m willing to give you this information based on my own experience, knowledge, and wisdom!

Why Is Regret the Biggest Poison?
Holding on to too much regret in our lives does have a negative impact/effect on our body’s chemistry.
It’s similar to holding on to a grudge, resentment, hate, shame, stress, remorse, boundary, anger, sadness, and stuff like that…

Sure, it has different meanings but they are all negative emotions that sooner or later will leave you in a depressed state of mood or worse, where it could cause you an illness/sickness, and depending on how strong your own immune system is, it could lead to an early death.
Yes, that’s right!
How many times have we seen an older person who loses their lifetime partner and within less than a year, they end up passing away as well?!
I really do mean that holding on to any negative feeling/emotion including regret is truly a poison to our own self. It’s like holding a loaded gun towards your head and waiting to press the trigger.
Yes, that’s how bad it is and I’m going to explain why!
Regret according to Google, “is the emotion of sadness, repentant, disappointment or wishing one had made a different decision in the past, because the consequences of the decision were unfavorable“.
It involves being sorry and blaming ourselves for our own mistakes regardless of what it is. Yet, it is actually a sign of our body that we’re aware of them and have been paying attention to.
Folks who hold on to too much regret or any negative emotion/feelings lead to psychological effects such as depression and bad behaviors.
And the reason why it is a poison to our body is that it can cause some serious consequences to not only our overall mental health as well as harm our body and damage our lifestyle.
There are people who have distanced themselves from close individuals who mean the world to them due to something they regret. Some even went far enough to commit suicide and take their own life away.

In fact, it has been proven that any of this bad emotional stress such as regret affects our immune system, dysregulation/imbalance of hormones, lower physical and mental health as well as poor well-being.
And that’s why it is a super poison to our body!

Since we all know that there are a massive amount of people who are carrying on a daily basis the biggest regrets of their whole lives, here are some of the most common ones!

Yes, this was one of my biggest regret that caused damage for me to have a great lifestyle. There was a time I wasn’t really focused on the present or enjoying the present moments, but focusing on the past or what others thought about me…
But this was back when I had depression over a decade ago!
I am glad that those days are all gone and that I was able to do something about it to start living a much better life as what I’m doing today and so on.
What to Do to GET RID of Regret or Any Other Distress Emotional Feelings?
Well, since regret is just an emotion, we can actually CHOOSE to change by letting them go and changing the way we’re feeling.
And you do this by choosing and committing to simply FORGIVE yourself, and you do that by accepting what has happened and surrendering to it and knowing that the “regrets” you’re holding on were all life lessons that you will take with you forever regardless of how tough they are.

It is exactly how I was able to transform my life around by choosing and being 100% committed to changing the way I see them and actually choosing to forgive them through acceptance no matter what has happened in the past…
I mean, if I didn’t do that, I would probably be “hating” my past experiences and therefore I would probably not have been living the life of my dreams and probably would NEVER ever live the life that I truly deserve since regret will hold me back to go forward in life.
So when you start to forgive everything, you’ll seem to start letting go of those past situations that made you regret or caused any negative emotional feelings…
And as you let go, you start to forget about them as well and not worry or even think about them anymore.
But if you do like me and see it as a life lesson or an important experience that we all needed to go through in order to grow in life and have the wisdom that we all have, you’ll start to change your inner peace as well!
Now I do understand that these work very effectively but you have to do your part 100% and if you still seem like you just can’t get rid of what you’re holding on since you might be holding on to something for a very long time such as decades, then you need a much more powerful solution here.

- Thank you for forgiving me.

- My past relationship with my dad healed and blessed.
- I’m so sorry father.
- Please forgive me for everything.
- Thank you, I’m very grateful.
- I love you with all my heart.
Therefore, as you can see, they are some powerful words and if you put 100% intention into it by focusing on it then imagining it being healed and choose to feel what you’re saying or trying to change and heal, it causes MAGIC!
I mean, I have healed so many things. Yes, I have even healed people!
